A) Bitching about what other people picked (not you)
B) Trying to put down what other people picked to make them seem like they have a handle on what is good and what isn't. (ie: the guy who discredits Citizen Kane because there wasn't a lot of boobies or killing in it. etc.)
C) Would bitch no matter what was on that list. (And if they didn't do that, they would bitch about the grammar people use to express their feelings or something trivial, like that.)

Well... If you're into world music you might want to listen to Cafe Tacuba, Caifanes & Jaguares, other than that I think soundtracks make great fillers. Most are compilations of forgettable songs but every once in a while you'll find one that's worth buying.

I think it could have something to do with the general anti-emo feeling. Blogging is almost as important to the emo crowd as slanty fringes and black hoodies and since there is such an irrational dislike of the poor emo kids blogging gets tarred with the same brush, Y'know?

Yes.... I felt the same recently reading in some thread "Funny how many Americans claim to have Cherokee ancestry"... What's less funny is the explanation: the Cherokee, then the most numerous East Coast nation, wanting eagerly to become part of the US, and adopting spontaneously the white's lifestyle... only for finding out that admitting their nation's territory in the Union as a new state was not exactly what their neighbors had in mind, and the Cherokee being eventually submerged by the Wasp...
