So I failed on my mission of a daily blog. I'm just not a writer, last post notwithstanding. My daily life just isn't interesting enough, to others at least, to write about. I deal with the same petty bullshit, the same small triumphs and setbacks, and the same simple joys as any other American single father over 30. My son makes me happy. Video games make me happy. My sons mother makes me want to break things. Work just makes me sad.
I could tell thousands of anecdotes about those things, and they'd be identical to the millions of anecdotes of others already online. Names and places may be different, details may be changed to protect the innocent, but it'd be the same old same old. If I'm going to put the effort in to write something, I want it to be something unique. So I won't be doing a daily blog, I'll post as I have something worth saying.
Fair enough?
