to answer your question about the awesome movie I saw: It 's about a crazy Brit DJ in Ibiza that parties so much (ie: drinking, massive amouts of cocaineand constant loud music) that he goes completly deaf and loses his mind. It's devastating yet hilarious and I would say that if you were ever in the rave scene you'd love it, but I saw it with my mother who's and old fart and she thought it was great. I am going to Japan. I got confirmation on my internship this morning, and I will be heading to Sapporo to intern at Hokkaido University's Slavic Studies Center, researching energy and economic security and cooperation between Japan and Russia.
The best part is, IT'S FREE. I got funding for the entire summer. Oh, life is good, it is, it is.

I haven't made anyfriends here yet except a couple girls i work with and some really jerk guys who, on the first day of hanging out tryed to get with me ..lol yeah so...I love guy friends there so fun, only have one to date who hasn't try anything but he's also my bestfriends "friend" so maybe that's why..lol

... was fun. 3320 miles, too much fast food, good music, the da Vinci Code on cd, and some drunken nights in cities across the US. Notable, were New Orleans and San Antonio, prolly never gonna live in either of those places, but fun to visit.

DONE!! One semester down, three 2 go. Taking off tomorrow for a roadtrip across the country, very excited about that. SPrained my ankle playing soccer, but other than that, life is good. I have been visiting my parents and friends back home in SoCal, playing with great dane puppies, drinking beer and getting into trouble.

Ugh, I did Japanese summer study at the local community college and it kicked my ass.. I got a D (mind you I was like 15 and had never taken a college course nor studied Japanese at the time). Retook it this year for th' A. I have to study all summer though to get from a community college level to a UC level in knowledge and understanding... I guess that means memorize more vocab and kanji
