I understand all too well about not being able to smoke for awhile. Most of my friends are non-smokers, and I respect that when I'm in their vehicles. Once we get where we're going though, I'll hop out and grab a smoke straight away. About the only time I might ask for a smoke break from them would be if we were crossing state lines, but as a rule, I just wait. I do think that any other smokers should have spoke up though.
