As a photographer my understanding was that all SuicideGirls sets had to be posted by the girls themselves. A few times now I've seen set descriptions like this and wondered how it ends up being written in the third person. Are photographers posting on a models behalf?

I'm not singling out or criticising Kaylala in any way - I genuinely want to know if photographers

Team photographers can submit sets, so they can also write a caption
sooky:
You can submit sets as a photographer even if you're not staff. Obviously you need your model's consent and approval of the set. You can find information on it in the Photographer FAQ here: https://www.suicidegirls.com/model/faq/photographer/

I went looking for tattoo ideas on the internet and found this -

I recoloured it in photoshop and have asked my Tattoist to create a design for me based on this -

I'm booked in to get inked on the 18th November. Can't wait to see what he has come up with.

I was really struck today by how much SG hopeful @lunamedusa had changed in just 3 months (see below). I've been surprised before when I've gone into someone's set and their profile picture looks nothing like the person in the set. Given the lag between when sets are shot, they are uploaded and they go live it must be difficult for SG models to balance...

I am officially classed as an incomple tetraplegic (what used to be called a quadraplegic). I have some use of all four limbs but all four have been affected by a spinal cord injury to my neck.

Brown-Sequard causes you to lose the feeling and coordination on one side of your body while you lose the strength and function on the other. I was born...

that really really sucks!    // i am in a different but similar situation - i have 18 (eighteen) cracked or broken vertebrae - all the cervical ones and then from the lumbar up.. .from dolphin virus i got because i was severely cut on coral in "dolphin infested" water... anyway... i got tired of people ignoring my struggle to walk normally and push by me (knocking me down in the process), so I got me a nice stout 5 1/2 foot staff.  with a steel collar around its lower end.  people see the staff and for one reason or another tend to step a little away, plus it makes a nice footrest in a waiting room (of which i have seen far too many).  acupuncture with electricity has helped me maintain minor motor muscle control in my hands.  painful as fuck and takes about 6-8 treatments to show an effect, but every time i stop it, in about three weeks i start dropping pens, fumbling coffee mugs etc.  it has no ability to cure that i am aware of, but it can counteract neural symptoms.   // finally, i eventually realized that there are handicapped people everywhere, and that travel, if carefully planned, was possible.  not in the past year, but i have managed a few trips in the 20 (yay!) years i have been basically housebound--even overseas.  those who are helpful will help, the others, well they have self-identified as assholes and that saves a ton of time!

Although I live in the southern hemisphere I live in Darwin the most tropical city in Australia. Midwinter here was less than 4 weeks ago and today is 30C/86F.

rubymoon:
This week it was very hot here in southern Brazil hahaha almost 30C
jayafterdark:
It's now 2 months past midwinter so we have not even reached the middle of spring yet and while the daytime temperatures have only increased to 33C/91F the coldest overnight temperature is now 24C/75F. I guess I can put my blankets away.

Some of the Australian states shut their borders because of a new Covid outbreak so my trip ended up half the size but it was still great.

In 4 days I'm headed off for 2 weeks camping through the Kimberley region of the Australian outback. I might share a few photos when I get back although alas there won't be a SG to be seen, 😉

I had just finished commenting on @saria's new set Primary when I realised the 'you might also like' panel was advertising the exact same set but on @caustix' profile.

shalil:
Then we wonder why some girls get so many likes lol

I've said before that SOTD puzzles me. The latest winner was a debut set, self-shot, published only 2 week ago and had attracted less than 2000 likes. It was a good set, worthy of a like, but I couldn't see anything that made it stand out from all the other great sets that have been posted this month. Does anyone know how the SOTD is...

@shalil I think your number of followers can affect that. If 10,000 people see everything you post than getting 3,000 likes is a lot easier than if only 2,000 people view your set.
shalil:
I don't know, sets appear in MR to everyone, regardless if they are following you or not... recently a new hopeful had her first set and she got more than 3k likes in a few days, and of course since she's new she hasn't many followers! And vice versa, some girls with many followers a lot of times stuck at low numbers...

I've talked before about the fact that I suffer from depression. I've been having a rough time of it recently so if my comments or blog posts lately seem more negative or critical than usual that is why and I apologise for it. 😟

rubymoon:
You don't have to apologize. Hope you're doing better ❤️
tintanankin:
Dont apologize dear, take care yourself 💖
