Well I am in Chicago after a crazy long and flat drive home. My Dad flew out just to get some quality time on the way back and I couldn't be more grateful. I don't think we turned the radio on once. It was really nice to reconnect with my family after all this time. Everyone around me is so happy and it makes me anxious to get up each day. I love the vibe in a room with happy people. My brother scored us some Eddie Vedder tickets for last nights show. It was one of the greatest shows I have ever been to and I have seen my fair share. We had a few bottles of suds and a fantastic time. He played mostly acoustic and a lot with a ukulele. Lots of into the wild songs and then his old classics with Pearl Jam. When I told my friends I was going to see him most of them said, "You like Van Halen?", I just had to chuckle. The opening act was Glen Hansard from the movie "Once". He was amazing as well. Well thanks for listening and I wish everyone the best.
"Oh I'm a lucky man
To count on both hands
The ones I love
Some folks just have one
Yeah others they got none
Stay with me,
Let's just breathe".
