Well. Memorial Day here was... lame. There is no stop to missions, so we just had a (decent) barbeque in the chow hall, and a big cake, which said "Remember those who served our country.". Somehow the impact was lessened for us.

Okay, for all those who wouldn't have guessed this... Baghdad sucks, and getting shot at is no fun.

Okay, Fort Hood sucks. One day it's 85 degrees with clear skies, the next it's 40, raining, with 20mph winds. And I'm about to hit my limit on taking the Army's BS in stride. ::shrug:: Oh, well, I didn't really want that promotion, anyway. I'll just have to make sure I do something really spectacular to lose my rank.

Oh, and Olsen is hawt.
