it took me 2 250 grams of tangiers but I think I finally got it right. i've only tried F-Line Orange Soda and Noir-Tropical Punch. The orange soda was first and via trial and error i found out what not to do, lol. With the tropical punch, I tried out the instant acclimation method which worked very well. I always try to get the cleanest smoke so I use a kaloud lotus to bake the shisha with indirect heat rather than burning it. Also using coconara coals. If the science is right, using this method should prevent any tar and minimize the carcinogens inhaled, but anyways I digress. Decided to go with a mostly fluff underpack with maybe a 10% dense pack in a harmony phunnel bowl. The sisha doesn't taste burned and a little can last for about 2-3 hours with 2 rounds of coals. So what can I say about the flavor? The first round of coals tends to give a decent hawaiian punch flavor complete with a carbonated bite (like drinking it straight from a can). But, by the end of the first round of coals and every subsequent round, it's more like a cherry flavor, and I really don't care for cherry flavored shishas. I've got maybe 3 other flavors from the tangiers line to try out so maybe my opinion will change. So far, though, it seems to be overrated. I've had consistently more robust flavors from Social Smoke which is also unwashed meaning that you get that nice head-buzz from smoking. time will tell though.
