Here we stand, on the verge of summer. It's arrived for some, but up here in the frozen north, we deal with weather that has more conflicting whims than a kid with ADD in an arcade. It's warm, it's hot, it's cold, it's raining, it's foggy, it's humid... and that's all before lunch. School is almost out, however, and that'll be nice, as it starts the Summer of Flights. Mine, not necessarily other people's.
Late June - Dallas, for a Spoon concert. Free tickets, to both the flight and the concert.
Second week in July - two weeks in Pensacola, Florida, where they teach me how to teach the class I've been teaching all semester.
First week in August - San Diego for a week, for a 10 year high school reunion... gah, I'm so old...
Last ten days of August - Tblisi, Georgia, to visit my brother.
September, and I'll be back in school, both teaching it and attending it, in Grad School form. I'll be collecting those frequent flyer miles, that's for sure.
