OK, so I just got off one of the ships yesterday, and I'm already heading back out to Honolulu in about 3 more days. I'll be offline again until near the end of August. Looking forward to making all that extra scratch while working at sea... My last cruise was only 18 days; didn't make a whole lot extra on that one. Peace...

Just flew in to Seattle today. I was in Honolulu for 16 days buried knee deep in winter repair work on the NOAA Ship Oscar Elton Sette. In about another 2 weeks I fly out to meet the ship in Guam. Looking really foreward to that trip. I used to be stationed in Guam from 2003 to 2005. I hear its grown alot since then.

Ok, got back from Honolulu a couple of days ago. Settling back into Seattle life for now.

Ok, I know I said I was going to update the journal this week, but I'm flying out tomorrow and I still haven't packed!! Besides, the conclusion is pretty heavy emotional stuff.

Anyhow, I'll be on the government network while at the ship until mid to late November. Till then I won't be able to check up on things with SG due to the security...

Listening to Thievery Corporation's "Radio Retaliation". Pretty damn good CD. Most everything from TC is very much to my liking though. Anyhow, I'm sitting here staring at the calendar waiting for SEPTEMBER 30th!!! Thats when I fly out to Honolulu to sail again. But for now, I have to get through Cisco Router class next week and Monday & Tuesday of the following week. Misery....

Well I put in for a new job. This one is still sailing with NOAA, but it will involve A LOT more sailing. I've already been referred for hire, but now I have to wait for a notification of selection.
