You know, I have always gotten conflicting stories about using the breastfeeding as birth control. I have a friend up in Canada that says over there, if women are exclusively breastfeeding, their docs don't put them on BC.

Down here, you hear a million stories (especially from docs) about how women come to their 6 week check up already pregnant while exclusively breastfeeding. I really do think it depends on the woman. For me, using BF as birth control worked with my son and a bit with Nalia. If a woman has a history of getting pregnant quickly after giving birth, not so much.

btw to answer your last blog (and i only know this because I've had to go through the nonsense) you will probably need a departmental or professor override into the course. The pre-req resides with the course itself not with your major anymore if you're at ASU. Mainly because they went to this slow buggy new scheduling system that sucks, and doesn't determine which classes you can sign up for based off of your major and the relative pre-req. I'm not sure the adviser can override it, but they will probably put you in touch with whoever can.

Right now it won't let me sign up for summer or fall classes because it doesn't have a final grade for my current courses that are pre-reqs to other stuff. I hate the new system.

I always found that even though there are headaches involved. you always get the required courses worked out. If you don't want to wait for your adviser try checking in with the lead secretary (I don't feel like that is the right term here, but I think it gets the idea across) and see what they think you should do. They are really the ones who run most universities and colleges. They can do anything.

Your body will get more used to it, but may not get truly adjusted. Hang in there.

This video is hysterical. I think it is really funny that she took the time to do this. A lot of these types of covers are designed to reinvent the song and show how good they actually are (see Tori Amos on "Smells like Teen Spirit" or Travis on "Hit Me Baby One More Time") but this is just plain funny. Good on ya for the new friend. I'm currently feeling like I need to find some new friends also. Not that there is anything wrong with the ones I have. I just need to break the routines and expand a bit. So good for you. I hope it clicks.

Seriously allergic. The couple times I have tried it, my body went into rebellion and I couldn't eat or drink anything for three days. It's strange. I'm ok to be around others smoking as long as it is outdoors, but I can't actually smoke.
