Well, first shift back last night and started off with a bang again. Two homicides this year and I have had the pleasure of being at both of them. I think I am jinxed!

Sooo tired. New Years + Violence = working 29 of last 34 hrs. I need some serious sleep and a bottle of happy pills to forget the New Year images in this head.

Okay, so I finally took everyones advice and decided to go to the doctor. She was surprised when I said I started getting symptoms on Nov. 24th and that I waited so long to see her. I said, I usually fight it off, but this one is killing me.

Well, the bad news... I have been sick since my return from Vancouver. I don't know what sort of demon cold this is but it keeps getting worse and worse and I am starting to believe it may in fact kill me.

Good news? Yup, booking my ticket to go back to Vancouver for the 19th of January... Looking forward to returning. I figure right...

Well. I am back from Vancouver. 7 days out there is not nearly enough. I think I might have to return in a few weeks.

It was a blast though, Grey cup was lots of fun and of course my time in the city following Grey cup was great. Sucks to be home and returning to work but C'est la vie.

Well I am off to Vancouver thursday for a week. Looking forward to the trip. Great city with some great people, and there should be a great party going on this weekend. YAY!

Anyway, that's all for now, this weekend was fairly slow, no huge parties, just lots of sitting with friends and chillin. It was good.

Just finished readin "a million little pieces." I have to say it was pretty damn good. It represent addiction very well and is a good depiction of just how fucked up people really are.

Anyway if you are looking for something to read I would recomend it.

What a week. It's been a long one believe me. Work is draining, particulairly when you only get 5 hours of sleep a night, or as little as 3 1/2 in some cases. I have to admit I think I might be getting too to close down the bar at 2 in the morning and show up for work at 7.
