i was thinking about joining the sg military group. i'm working in baghdad right now. i'm an 11b with 10th mountain and i'm active until 2007-8. i don't really blog because of opsec and lack of entertaining events (people don't really get military humor), but i'd like to see what your group is like.

A LMT MRP with a gas piston would be awesome! Any idea if that combination is available at this point? The only MRP barrels I've seen are set up with the usual gas tube.
How about the Robinson Armament XCR Modular Weapon System? It has the rails, quick change barrel, gas piston system, plus a folding stock. All I know about it is what's on their website.
Can't say I know all that much about the G36/XM8. From what little I've seen so far it doesn't look like much of an improvement, if any, over what we already have.
And what is the deal with 'operators' these days? Since when did they stop working for the phone company?
