The time has come for a blog update. Truth be told, I'm not really in a sharing mood. I am a grumpy cunt after all and I'm far from the best sharer. I tend to start every new year saying I'm going to share more, but this year I really can't be bothered trying to put myself out there. I'm happy as is.
My girl is amazing, and I should be moving in with her in June. My degree is going well, I'm really getting into it. My family are still alive, which is always a plus. The writing continues to happen in bursts, but on a more regular basis. I've got some beautiful music in my life at the moment. Money is money, and none of it is mine.
The one thing I would like to say on this chilly boxing day, sat cross legged on a comfy sofa with my old dog at my feet, books on every surface around me, and my life before me, is thank you. Thank you to the wonderful people I have met, or those I follow, who I have found through the SG community. You inspire me on a daily basis. You bring cheer and joy to me irrespective of any formal friendship we may or may not have. Whether you're models or their significant others, tattooists, musicians, poets, singers, writers, photographers, artists or those just living your lives to the full, you inspire me. Each day I'll look at my private twitter and instagram, and you show me the beauty in humanity that I do not get to see in my day to day. If my girl is my boulder in life, you lot are the beautiful landscape around me, keeping me moving onward.
I'll probably never meet the majority of you, or even speak to some, and the ones I have met I'll maybe only see once a year. Doesn't change the incredible positive impact you have on my day to day. Thank you.
Fische, holley, lucerne, totem, reuben, galda, quinne and mikaul, you ladies one way or another have cheered me up or helped me along over the last year and beyond through this site or social media. Were it not for SG I never would have known of you, thus why I'm posting this here. You, your partners, your friends and your photographers are good people. The best kind. Keep doing what you're doing, and once again, thank you.
