I actually think me getting through the first 2 months after the break-up had a lot to do with the fact that I kept lying to myself (and others) constantly and telling myself that I was okay and I wasn't sad and living alone wasn't scary. And now, well, I'm fine. Mostly. Haha. I definitely don't hate the man. I actually don't think I've ever said that to anyone...not even my best girlfriend during man-bashing.

I can't make the whole weekend, if i do decide to go it will probably be last minute and unplanned. My class schedule for this quarter includes a friday night class, and i haven't done the math yet to figure out if it is a kid or non-kid weekend. There are some places in town that are pretty affordable. I guess it would all depend on the area you are looking at. I have a big one bedroom apartment in a nice complex in a nice suburb with pool, gym, utilities included, etc. for $650/month. When I was looking, I found 2 bedroom townhomes for around $500, but they weren't in an area that I wanted to be in as a single female.
