I'm flying from San Diego to San Francisco at the end of April. Virgin America is $20 more than Southwest for the round trip. I've never flown Virgin before. Is it worth it?

So I got a free carpet cleaning today for renewing my lease. They said they'd work around my furniture as much as possible, but the more visible floor, the better. So I moved my dining chairs and bike into the kitchen. The carpet is now spectacularly clean... but it's not dry yet. I guess I'm ordering pizza tonight.
Ugh. $800 for my car's 70,000 mile service. They also wanted to replace the timing belt, but I'm getting a second opinion on that.

Dammit, I have to find a new car mechanic. Until now, I've always taken it into the dealer, but I just found out the owner gave $25k to Yes on 8. He can take his "traditional definition of marriage" and shove it right up his ass; he's never seeing a dime of mine again.
They've done it. The McCain campaign has gone and pissed off Miss Virginia.
