Hello wonderful world of SG.
I know, I know, I’ve been out the loop for AGES right? To be honest, ever since the sight changed I’ve not really figured out how to work it properly, but that is just me being lazy.
As you may have already spotted, I’ve a new set out, which was shot by the lovely Snowy last March in London. If you’re into Celt looking, curvy ginger ladies, then this set will be right up your alley. Thanks for all the love and support you have given me on it so far. This past year has been a whirlwind of emotions, not just about situations in my life, but on how I feel about myself, so your kind words have been a great boost, and I have read every single comment.
So what the hell have I been doing all these months you ask? My final year at university has been taking over my life. Why did no one tell me a science degree would be so difficult? I’m kidding, I obviously expected that. My course has been really interesting as I love learning all aspects of psychology, but personal circumstances made studying a lot more challenging than perhaps it would have been on its own merit. The stress of juggling two jobs (one in a mental health hospital for adolescents, and one in a call centre) alongside my studies has been really tough, and it has been easy for me to get swamped under it all, feeling I have little to no support. I’ve had very little time to focus on myself, and this has in turn, made me quite unwell over the past few months. I finish university, and hopefully will get my degree in May, so I will hopefully have more options there in regards to finding full-time work (work which makes me happy) and I’ll hopefully be earning enough to learn how to drive. I live in a tiny wee town so getting the bus/train to and from places takes up the majority of my day!
In October I went back to London for another Shootfest and met up with some old friends, and also made some awesome new ones too. I shot a set with Fifthblade and also with the beautiful Ayah. Sadly, poor Ayah’s camera and bag was stolen in London so almost all of the sets she shot that weekend have been lost, after all her hard work. I was so sad when I heard the news, but I’m thinking of the positives, it only means Ayah is going to come to Scotland and visit me sometime in the near future so we can hang out again and shoot another set.
I got two new additions to my family. Bella and Nev, my two beautiful ragdoll kittens. I got them at the end of November at 8 weeks old, and they are now around 18 weeks old. They are such treasures and bring me so much joy. They are the most affectionate kittens ever and I could watch them play for hours.
I got back from a snowy short break up the North of Scotland a few weeks ago. We drove to Glen Shee to play in the snow, and then went a beautiful scenic drive to Oban, where we went to an incredible seafood restaurant and had some lobster, and then we went back to the hotel and got drunk in the bathtub. It was my ‘post-exam’ treat as I’d just found out I’d passed all my exams. I wasn’t away for long, but just getting away from reality for a little while makes the world of difference.
I started back for my final semester at university today, so I will be kept busy with my studies and working in between, but to keep my sanity I’ve got some fun events planned for the near future. My best friend and I will be going shark diving next month, and it is also the Edinburgh Tattoo Convention at the end of March which will be great fun. Shortly after that it is my birthday, and then I will be doing a Sky Dive. All these events will keep me going towards exam time again.
Once again, thanks for taking the time to read this and I am very sorry I’ve not been as frequent in my updates as I’d like. I’ll be back in touch soon. Hope you’s are all doing great. I've spammed a bunch of pictures to update you on the past couple of months, but if you want a more regular update, please add me on Instagram: Finella420
