French Canadian is like taking old french peasant recipes and methods, and applying them to the local flora and fauna. A lot of hearty foods, pickles, preserves to get through winter. Pies, stews, roasts. Root vegetables, apples, maple syrup, venison and game birds. Yummy stuff! And I do appreciate all the love on my photos! :)
