Yes, today's my son's birthday. I cannot believe that he is as old as he is, and still as sweet as ever. He is an amazing kid and I am happy that he had such a great time today. I made him a very special breakfast today of cheesy scrambled eggs with mushrooms in it, and I played his favorite video game with him for a while today, a game called Boarderlands. Maybe some of you have heard of it. Then took him out to a local arcade called "Epic" and we played there for an hour. He wanted Chinese food and so then Sam and I took him out to his favorite place and gave him his presents there. Then we went back to Epic and did a half hour of Laser Tag, which was hella fun. Then we went to Sam's parents for a while before returning home to play some CoD. Yes, he is a video game nut and is actually want to go to college to play eSports in college now as well thanks to RedBull TV. He is a great kid, really. I am so happy for him and excited about his future.
On a different note, I have decided that I am not going to be doing any sports photography for a long time; due to recent events. The only exception to this rule is if I am asked to photograph the Nitro World Games again this year, which I believe that I am going to be asked to do again. There is a long story behind this, but to me, what I really want to do is to work on my own projects and on teaching.
And to the underlying situation at hand, this is really what I have to say to it.
