Yep, I finally finished up the Latinx portfolio yesterday, after another full day of shooting. I now have 23 portraits for the exhibition that goes up on the 31st. I know...I am cutting it pretty fucking close, but it is all coming together finally. Thank god. So, without further wait...here is the finally collection of the Latinx collection, which the exhibition is currently titled "Portraits of Latinx Identity".
If you are in the Kansas City and Lawrence area, the show will be happening at the University of Kansas Memorial Union Gallery opening on October 31st and running through November 12th. The reception however, will not be until the 7th if I am not mistaken...I am not 100% sure. I will get back to you on that date when I have the info. The University of Kansas is paying for all of this, the room rental where we did the photo shoots up at KU and the printing and the frames and the reception and so on...so some aspects of it are out of my hands unfortunately.
But I am looking at trying to take this exhibition on the road, the first stop after this I hope might be LA, so I will let you all know.
