So I like handwriting things. I spent a lot of time in high school perfecting a style of handwriting I liked that was unique to me and only me. I've never seen anyone write the way I do. Some say it's too cursive or too much like a doctor. Some say it's "girly"... whatever that means. But it's mine, and I like it.
In college, handwriting was a disadvantage. And even though I can write pretty quickly longhand, I learned I couldn't keep up in lectures. So, I invented my own shorthand. I cracked open my memory banks and started using shorthand again in my workout journal to help me remember how things felt and what I ate, etc. I think it's pretty easy to learn, and it's a little more flexible than Teeline (meaning transcription isn't exactly necessary, it's stand-alone).
So anyway, if there are handwriting geeks out there, here's some fun stuff to look at, I guess.
