So, as of yesterday we, too, have Netflix here in the wonderful land of Oz. The selection is not the greatest (yet?), but it's cheap, the interface is nice and unlike iTunes it works on my Linux box, which makes it more attractive for me to have a film or show I'm not overly excited about just run on the side while I do some light programming in the evenings. The inaugural not-overly-excited-about film last night was Easy A, which actually turned out to be surprisingly delightful (is Emma Stone the cutest or is Emma Stone the cutest?).
Today I followed that up with Frozen, which I just had to watch at some point, seeing as it is much more likely these days that people will think of the snowman with the strange fascination for all things hot when they hear my name rather than the evil count or that guy that Anya turned into a troll. It's a reasonably cute film, if one likes that kind of thing, but it definitely wasn't too distracting. Unfortunately, now I'm dying to introduce myself with "Hi my name is Olaf and I like warm hugs," but I guess I'll have to make really, really sure that people get the reference first. Probably still better than "You there, do you know where there are babies?"
