Sports...
I know that I am probably the exact opposite of athletic. I Smoke way to much, like eating food even if it is unhealthy and as an IT-guy/geek I spend my working day mostly in front of a computer.
I'd say that helping friends moving and dancing at rock concerts is about all the exercise my body got over the last 5 years or so.
I mean I am not overly obese or anything, but losing 20 pounds wouldn't be that bad.
So last Friday I jogged for the first time in a decade or so. Today I was out again and I am completely destroyed. Strangely enough it isn't even my constitution - I thought that would be the main problem. But my legs hurt all over and I think I have one big blister the size of my foot.
And believe me, I am not trying to run a half-marathon. I would be happy to run 20 mins without pause. It seems i have to grit my teeth and get over this first big hurdle: easing my body into the idea of exercise.
If anyone has any tips, let 'em come.
At least I feel good about myself today. :-) That is a start!
