It's a Friday morning, and I'm having a heluva time getting moving. Trying to decide where to take the kids today. Maybe we'll head down to the creek and do some swimming and fishing. Summers almost gone, and there's still so much I want to do. The kids are itching to go visit Virginia Beach - that's where their grandparents and friends live - but it's going to take a lot of juggling to do so. Grabbing the kids from a suburban neighborhood where family and friends are, and taking them to a galaxy far, far, away - where there's no one in walking distance to play with - has been enlightening. I was surprised how well they adapted to just playing with each other. Oh, they still fight, but they know that for the most part, they only have each other. I grew up on a mountain in Western PA, and I loved it, hated it, loved it, hated it, and then missed it terribly - which is why we moved here.
