This will be a copy/paste job, because it expresses exactly how I feel.
Fuck you, Stephen King.
Fuck you.
For 12 years I have been reading your books. I started with The Talisman and made my way from there, plodding through like some blind idiot with his feelers set to read. 6-7 years ago, I picked up The Gunslinger and have been lost ever since. I did my damndest not to rush into the reading all of the books, but today I finished The Dark Tower.
Or shall I say, ALMOST finished.
For you see, Sai King, as I'm sure he likes to be called, informed me that I should not continue reading his book. Tells me that I'll be disappointed if I see what happens. To that I give my fuck you. I have watched this man entwine every goddamn book that he's ever written (and I've read them all, save for The Cell) into this epic journey of a story and then he tells me not to finish reading it. What kind of audacity and chutazpah does this man have? It's not yours to take away from me, yet you have.
I'm apparently damned if I do and I most certainly feel damned that I won't. Because now, I can't. You fucked it up for me and ruined this amazing thing that I had. You're so goddamn full of yourself that you wrote yourself and your fucking accident into the story, yet you tell me not to read anymore. Fuck you man.
Anyone who's ever read it all probably knows what I mean. If you haven't, don't call me nuts until you read everything.
If I ever meet him, I'll probably punch him in the fucking mouth.
The End
