...a Homework about "how you do" something? Ha...you guys seriously thought I was going to talk something other than my art?! HAHAHAHA! you're sooo silly!!!!!!
HERE'S HOW I DO A STICKER IN LESS THAN TWO SHAKES OF A LAMB'S TAIL!!
So, first what I generally have to do, obviously, is get a concept for the sticker. It's not like with an armored chick where I develop a concept around the armor, but more like a particular action: is the stickie sending a kiss, is it angry, is it doing something else, etc. Then, after that, I sketch it out.
Yo dawg here are some doodles....
The concepts for these were as follows: The first one was meant to be a serious/angry sticker (I cut off the mouth and hair to use in the final piece), the second is a furious one, and the last one represents something playful or "I'm hungry" hahaha. You just have to use thin lines, nothing more complicated than that.
THEN, after that, I start making out the shapes, they must be really simple and have little detail to them to go with the "sticker" feel and style of things. Shading is usually made by just placing 1-2 lighter colors above it, and fun fact, I never really use shadows on these, except for the face and hair a little. Also, unless it's based around an already made armor (like with @karanlit's or @lestis' stickers), I go with a "generic" design, so it doesn't take too long.
Here, I'm such a good person that I attached a small timelapse for your viewing pleasure
