it sucks not everyone can be, there doesn't seem to be an end to it. Some people are so affected by first impression and impulses now a days. Some reactions can be so primal. People try to be so PC now a days and 40 years later, as you said, they should be not just politcally correct, but genuinely correct. To me, it seems like someone says something about a "race" daily. People either tip toe around it, bluntly say stupid slurs, or if they have large heart and open mind they might care enough to get educated. Race is only a social construct that has been tied down to gray area like the color of your skin, something that comes in so many shades and hues.People may not relieze we are one species, and they probably don't care what that means. In this Bible belt there is a lot of resistance for acceptance and change, but you will always see people fake it. To them this is there genuine self.
