"I'm half the man I used to be"
This line from the song "Creep" by Stone Temple Pilots came to mind earlier today. I decided that it was about time to finally get around and clean out my closet and get rid of clothes that don't fit me anymore/I just don't wear (figure I'll donate them to Good Will). Over the past couple of years, I've REALLY lost weight. Don't get me wrong, I'm still a rather large American (and you know how large us Americans can get). In fact, to borrow from Gabriel Iglesias' fatness scale, I at one time would probably be considered "DAAAAAMN!!!", bordering on "Oh Hell No!!!". Now I'd say I'm probably somewhere between "Husky" and "Fluffy". So I've come a long way, but I still have a long ways to travel. But I digress...
As I was going through the clothes, I was pleasantly surprised to find that some clothes that were too tight when I bought them several months to several years ago (I HATE that there really isn't a uniform sizing scale. I have some clothes that, based on their size, shouldn't fit me that fit PERFECTLY. And on the other side of the coin, I have clothes that say they should be too big for me that I couldn't fit into if my life depended on it) fit me rather well now. And what shocked me the most was that there were also clothes in my closet that used to fit me fine that I could almost wrap completely around myself. Ergo, that's why the song lyric came to mind.
Nothing serious or earth shaking, but something that made me dance a little jig and smile about. So I thought I'd share it
