Came back to the States yesterday. Not as depressing as expected; still, I miss Rio, everything seems a couple degrees more intense there; the sun has something to do with this. pictures to come soon.

quick hello from washington dc. it's been a nice christmas.
finally saw donnie darko. didn't really like it, somehow. also saw 'munich.' didn't like that either. leaving for rio de janeiro tomorrow. last night i was going down the stairs in my parents' house and the phone flew out of my hands and smashed in a million pieces.
