Mine and Mrs. DeadGuitarist's 23rd Wedding Anniversary is coming up in just under a month (14 May). Because I figured she'd ask me what I'd like as a gift, I had been thinking about it lately. Saturday she asked me if I wanted to get a tattoo, thinking I wanted a bass clef on my left arm to "match" the treble clef I have on my right arm. But that's not the next tattoo I want.
I told her I want the "Evolution of Scorpio" tattoo on my back. Below is one artist's idea; I don't recall seeing a colored version. So I was always kind of lukewarm about this particular design This artist was once a friend, but she took advantage of our friendship, then moved several times. She's no longer tattooing. She got involved with the vaping industry.
So, within the next couple of weeks, we'll go see Jason, the tattoo artist who did my wife's sleeve and give him first crack at coming up with a design for it. If he doesn't think it's his style or can do it justice, then I'll seek out another artist. The people who run the vape shop I frequent most have an artist they really like, so he'll probably be the second person I give a shot at designing my tattoo.
I know it will take several sessions and cost several hundred dollars, but since Mrs. DeadGuitarist mentioned it and wants me to get it, the cost is no problem. Plus the cost will be spread over several sessions so it won't be a big deal (and with the new job she's starting tomorrow also comes a significant increase in her salary).
For her present, I know she wants to take the diamond (it's a very valuable family diamond) from her wedding ring (it's not her original wedding ring) and mount it on a jacket ring that she can put around her diamond anniversary band, which is also quite valuable. Unfortunately, I don't have a photo of the ring she wants made, so I can't show you what I'm going to get her.
Since our anniversary is on a Sunday this year, we'll probably celebrate on Saturday the 13th. Not sure what we're going to do, but Mrs. DeadGuitarist suggested having dinner at one of the nice restaurants inside Paris Las Vegas; I think there is an outdoor restaurant on the replica Eiffel Tower... that would be cool. We spent our first anniversary in Paris, France. (I so want to go back for more than a weekend -- and not with a tour) We also had a staycation at Paris Las Vegas years ago for an anniversary. When we told them it was our anniversary at check in, they upgraded us to a suite at no extra charge. Needless to say, Paris Las Vegas is probably our favorite resort/hotel, casino in Las Vegas.

I'm also on SnapChat (Gri11Sgt), Periscope (GrillSgt) and Uenme (RhythmGuitarist). I usually have my status on Uenme set to unavailable because of work and I forget to change it when I'm available. I'll try to get better about that.
I'm not super active on all of them, but I add stuff to each of them occasionally that you won't necessarily find on my SG profile page.
