Everything's all scheduled for the shoot tomorrow! I'm a bit nervous, but the photographer is a close friend of mine, my roommate is out of town for the weekend, and I only have two items to get for my outfit. I honestly can't wait to do some more collaboration with Matt, my photographer. He's a sweetheart and has a great eye.
In other news, I've been watching Hoarding: Buried Alive and Hoarders like crazy for the past few days. The result of this has been my horror, revulsion, and the intense cleaning of my apartment.
Upon cleaning the lovely dining room table off, I found that I have ample room to decorate with my cute anime girl plate:
This apartment is really starting to feel like home! My room needs to be rearranged, but that will have to wait until I feel like moving furniture. For now, I'm content with my clutter being eradicated. My roomy is still working on her clutter, but she only moved in two weeks ago, so she's still in her grace period
Is there anyone excited for Dark Shadows coming out today? I honestly wish I could say I was, but Tim Burton movies feel really tired to me. Which is saddening, because the old TV series was one of the only "supernatural" shows that my grandma would watch with me when I was in middle school. Kinda special, but it's not the first thing Burton has soiled from my childhood (I'm looking at you, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory). Not ruined, mind you; I'm sure these movies will be heartily enjoyable in their own rights. Just slightly soiled, like something that has become damp and is starting to mildew.
Whew, I guess I needed to get that out of my system. Even if it is the same tired bullshit most other film critics (and critics in general) are squawking about right now.
You know someone who will never get old to me? Tom Waits. Enjoy:

good luck with your shoot! and I agree -- Tim Burton and Johnny should give it a rest, or try some new drugs or something. geez.
