Well what a good and bad month its been all rolled into one lame 30 days. Hopefully May can kick ass, the weather is getting nicer, Im finally making a little money. Unfotunately, its like past due debts (creditors, bills, etc) all somehow know when you have a little extra money, and POOF, they all want it. The worlds master plan of keeping one from getting ahead.
So if you live in or around Portland (or any of the other participating West Coast Citites), you probably know about the Flex Car. I reserved and used it for the first time today, and I must say what a brilliant situation that is. They cover teh gas, teh insurance, parking, you name it...its covered. Its a little pricey sure, but if you only need a car one or two times a month, its pretty cool.
I have been getting very inspired to learn a lot more about photography, mostly from the SG community. I feel I am fairly well versed in Photoshop, but my knowledge of how to take an excellent picture to begin with, seems to be very little. I haven't the best cameras (a sony p150, and a canon g1) but I hope to get a Rebel DSLR within the summer, and go crazy learning. If anyones got any great tips, I am always into hearing them. I took the G1 into manual settings today, and its a lot to understand, Or really a lot to know how to match up, I understand the aperature, and the shutter speed, and the ISO, but to make them all happy together, not so much. Lots of bright white pics, heh.
Anyways...I hope you are all having a great last day o' April and/or beginning o' May...
