Oooh!! Stark lines! So much black! I like! smile As for the Twilight comic = AWESOME. I found this hilarious chapter by chapter summary of Twilight and it made me chuckle today.

As for everything, well, it's going to be a while before I'm good to go, but at least I'm seeking help now.

The imagery is mad-awesome... But I'm not sure if the font is really pulling me in. It's a rad font, but I'm not sure if it compliments the imagery or not... I will think about this...

Something jumped out recently and kicked me square in the nostalgia.

1999 was ten years ago.

Movies like Fight Club, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, The Matrix, Austin Powers, Sleepy Hollow and Girl, Interrupted are all ten years old. Everything you've said I completely agree with.

The author's a Mormon which explains several things. And the child, well, you'll see when you get there. The author tries to explain vampires and werewolves through genetics but she doesn't understand the scientific principles so it makes no sense. You'll laugh, seriously.

Another big problem is that NO-ONE IS DISCUSSING THESE BOOKS EXCEPT TEENS!!! And it's all: I love the books, how awesome, Edward is so HOT!!!!!!11111" etc etc and not any further discussion. I would actually be really happy if the books were placed on a reading list at high school because then people would discuss these things.

It's a new year, and has been for a while now, apparently.

Thanks to Christmas, I have embarrassing amounts of alcohol in my apartment.

I'm enjoying the almost childlike buzz of learning something new.

I've resolved to finish a first draft of one project, get a second off the ground, and actually read everything on my bookshelf.

2009 is my first year...

Link to awards' info is here. It starts at 6:30pm so I think you'd have plenty of time to enjoy a good chunk of the party. You'll definitely get to see the awards ceremony itself, I think. There's other stuff on this weekend too! Let me know if you're keen. I'm definitely in and hoping to be a judge at the following year.
