Well I'm back! I had a lovely trip. Lots of driving around and sleeping in. Both things I heartily enjoy. I met a couple of SG members while I was away! Lotsa fun...
YAY
My set was up on the front page of SG at this point, but I didn't know till I finally finished driving. It was really exciting! And the night was a lot of fun. A few people that no one knew came up and sat at our table and just started talking to us and we were like... err... who are you? I'm not used to that. No one really seemed to think it was strange except us out-of-town-ers. And a guy that looked suspiciously like a politician came and sat with us at one point too. But he denied all allegations... but then, politicians are good at doing that aren't they.
This is down on the property. Burned some dead trees and a bit of garbage which was fun.
This is the fire a little bit later... its so pretty! There were purple and green flames at one stage which was pretty... and a little freaky. I'm not sure what that was about. But I've never seen a fire that colourful before!
And my bastard of a cat who has put on about 3/4s of its regular size in the form of a winter coat. She is now ready to be skinned and I shall make slippers from her pelt. Mmm, snuggly warmness. She is also half-feral now. Luckily because she has a heart condition she doesn't have a chance of catching even a baby rabbit. She has almost no depth perception and will bat at something that's a good meter away. Its cute and amusing. Poor thing!
Silvio the sheep. Doing his favourite thing in the world... eating stale bread!
The best piece of paddock rubbish that there ever was. I once did a photoset on this baby, but the light was too dappled because of the trees. Alas.
And this is back at home... my baby! Isn't she adorable? She's snoozing on my lap right now. Nawwww.

Yeah, wouldn't that be awesome if we all went pink! I'm STILL so excited about your set going live!! *lol* It was such an inspiration for when I decided to shoot mine (because so far it has seemed like Aussies aren't really picked a lot).
