The time has come to get a new mattress. The old one has survived for seven years, six moves and one baby.
The mattress we are looking at is fancy in an eco-sustainability kinda way. It is made out of Castor bean oil memory foam and has a bamboo/cotton blend cover. Sounds funky but every review I read gives it a 5/5.
I am a bit undecided about the sheets at the moment - Egyptian cotton, bamboo blend, satin? Who knows.
We will see if the wife lets me build the frame myself . . .

I haven't seen bamboo blend before. I liked my Egyptian cotton sheets, and they lasted forever - not slick, but nice feeling.

Don't get a bamboo blend, the fabric pills worse with the blend. Find some 100% bamboo sheets, it's better. The only con with the bamboo sheets is that they smell a little. After 6 washes though they are starting to loose the weird smell. They are so smooth and breathable though, the best sheets ever for summertime!
