So I got up early this morning hoping for some good dawn patrol surfing. It couldn't have been flatter. There was barely a ripple but it was still soooo beautiful. I'm so thankful to be able to do things like this. I may have to wait until this afternoon and go borrow a long board from a friend and go play in the water anyway....

I have a ticket to go to UT this weekend (yes, just before I head to CA). It was to be a weekend of climbing and snowboarding. But it looks as if they are expecting some heavy snowstorms so it may end up being just snowboarding. Not such a bad thing, snowboarding in lots of fresh snow. And then surfing a few days later.
