Wow. I'm impressed. I didn't become CORE! until my teenage years. You are clearly tougher than me.

Stupidest thing I did to impress people? Probably pretending to be "cool". In the process I: pissed off a lot of people (which would come back to haunt me), got beat up more than once and touched exposed wiring.

I've hated the Red Wings for years. They bought a couple of Cups in the 90s and I'm still cranky about it. But I couldn't bring myself to cheer for the Flames either. There was no winner here...

And no... no skipping head. But skipping proper typing appears to be a go.

i am a journaling fiend of late.

i am full of energy, but everyone is crazy-busy with finals fast approaching, so i've been blogging all my random thoughts instead of inflicting them on my nearest and dearest.

it's getting ridiculous.

i wish i could sleep, because the sooner i get to sleep, the sooner it's 7am and the Dadser will be here to whisk me...

But I will accept the title of vixen. biggrin

Sorry about delay... I was in Moosejaw. Didn't touch a computer from 3:30pm thurs to 8:30pm sunday.

DS was played but that doesn't *really* count, does it?

Anyhow... nothing major happened. Just couldn't get to sleep because I had a bunch of random thoughts and possible apprehensions, including going 8hrs to be isolated on a farm with people who may or may not hate me.

Just kinda killed the night for me since, as you noted, Karaoke was awesome wed so I was not expecting a sudden blast of blah.

EDITED TO ADD:

i started to write an entry, but didn't know what i wanted to say-

except that i'm really craving tempura right now.

also, today feels unfulfilled. i have this nagging sensation that there's something out there waiting for me, and i missed some sort of cosmic chance by staying home and napping. maybe it was just the midday nap after laserquest - midday naps do...

To Guess or Not to Guess : Reflections on the Multiple-Choice Testing Paradigm

So, this Tuesday I wrote a midterm for my Abnormal Psych Class. Now, I know I always say I haven't studied for my midterms, but what generally mean is I haven't studied enough. I'll usually take some time the day before an exam and review the class notes and skim through...

*clappy* very good work on that exam. So does this mean you aren't going to write that extra paper? Does that mean less stress for Cirdt? I'm all about the reduced stress thing right now. Especially since I seem to have developed that 12 second goldfish attention span thing. Oh ice cream!
carla:
That's sweet. I like overlapping material sometimes. I haven't gotten the mark for the one I wrote Wednesday back yet, but I've a sneaking suspicion I'll have done fairly well for that reason.

Ok, I have a new contestant for the title of "My Favorite Spam E-mail".

I always get ready too early.

I get ready too early and then have to sit around the house for an hour all dressed and made up until it's time to actually leave. During this time period I usually get bored and lazy and dejected and lose all motivation to actually go out.

I really need to work on this.

Also, Avil Lavigne's new song...

The Scene:
Sitting in the library with mairead, staring at jounal articles on Pictish symbol stones and drinking a giant cup of coffee with Stan Rogers being piped in though my headphones.

1769 words down.

You know you're getting desperate when you hit the word count button every half a paragraph.

I forget, sometimes, how lucky I am.

Like most of us, I tend to get bogged down in the vexing minutiae of everyday existence; the paper that's due, the 15 pounds I wish I could lose, this petty arguments with roomates, the he-said-she-said drama that sometimes pervades my social circle. All the little things build up, compounding each other, taking up more and more room...

Today I'm thankful for the couch that is so perfectly worn in and comfy, and the sun that is warming me as I lay in the beam. smile

374 words of my Scottish History paper written.

God, I wish I had something more interesting to update about than my glacial progress in paper writing.

I also wish I had dynamite rolls, and was a better guitar player, and could find a fabulous job for this summer, and had the new BTVS comic, and could run a 7 minute mile, and had a private...

I've actually written 3 pages of my Linguistic Anthropology paper. In just under an hour. That is pretty much a record breaking amount of work for me to have done all in one go.

Of course, it was so stupefying that I had to take a break to blog about it, but still, good show cirdt!

In other news, I showed up to an Irish...
