I agree and would take it even further to say it occurs VERY often rather than occasionally.
The most ignored instinctive animalistic behavior we humans display is territorialism. Our never ending instinct to say, "This space is mine, go away or I'll hurt you" or "I want the space you are in, get out or I will hurt you", has lead to every war in human history.
