My subscription here expires June 29. I'm in a heap of financial woe right now, and although it is temporary, I can't justify the expenditure to pay to re-up right now. It's been extremely interesting reading my friends blogs and commenting on the boards. Perhaps I will chat with you again in the future.

My email address is chaz.murray@yahoo.com

Peace.

I have MySpace and facebook if you want to add me. I haven't been around here a lot lately myself. I am behind on friends blogs and photo sets o_O

I spent the day Tuesday with my wonderful friend Ginny. She picked me up at my company's Little Rock, Arkansas terminal around a quarter to three or so and we had a late lunch at a place called the Whole Hog Cafe. It's an awesome little barbecue joint not far from downtown. Ginny seemed a little aprehensive to take me there knowing that I'm kinda...

I've been a busy little beaver lately and that is a good thing. Right now I'm in Eugene, Oregon enjoying a little down time. Since I left home I've driven several thousand miles, had a picnic with a Myspace friend, pondered the meaning of Spoon, got a mild case of food poisoning thanks to McDonald's, and trimmed the excess fur off my dog's tail.

I...

That whole journal entry is just my way of laughing it off.

Good luck with your girl.
coleen:
I can't tell you how many times I've gotten food poisoning, my immune system sucks, or I just have a knack for eating contaminated food. The worst I ever got was from Taco Bell, I don't eat there anymore. I wouldn't think you could get food poisoning from McDonald's since their food is just made out of cardboard, lol.

She sounds like a nice friend, and with her being understanding and cool with how you feel makes her even cooler. Hang on to her, even if she doesn't become something more.

I've been back on the road since Tuesday. I had a relaxing time at home. Got to get behind the wheel and roll now so I will have to fill in the details later. Hope all is well with everyone, everywhere.

Peace and muffins.

It's Season three, Episode five from CSI: NY. It's called Oedipus Hex. Definitely download it, that's what I had to do, you'll love it!

My boyfriend wants to know what company you drive for. He is also very disappointed that you drive a Volvo. Get yourself a real truck... wink kiss

It has been pointed out to me by some that Opie and Anthony's recent suspension was not an act of censorship, but rather the actions of the management of a corporation. Others have pointed out that when one in authority silences an subordinate, that constitutes censorship. XM is totally within its rights to do as it pleases. As a paying subscriber to XM Radio, I...

i'm a Sirius subscriber and I think it's utterly ridiculous. i don't even know what the issue was over, but it's just silly to censor a radio show that is a paid private service. UGH.

On May 15th, XM Radio suspended radio hosts Opie and Anthony for 30 days following the comments of a guest on their show. XM Radio is a subscriber service, not available over the public airwaves and therefore not subject to FCC regulation. Channel 202, The Virus, is now, and has always been a channel with explicit language. There are several audio warnings each day reminding...

I'm not sure you can continue to argue both sides of the position. Your comments on the boards suggest you are a strong conservative, perhaps a libertarian in spirit, but conservative nonetheless. As such, you should support allowing the free markets to work. XM Radio is a private enterprise, free to hire and fire as their policies dictate. Opie and Anthony were fired because they attempted to apply their narrowly accepted form of humor to three socially sensitive topics: rape, race, and US administration leadership. Doing so offended the company's values and may have violated their policy.

You are free to engage in those kinds of discussions with your friends over beer. Those rights are protected under free speech. However, the bar owner has every right to ask you to leave if he is offended by that discussion, forcing you to continually seek a narrowing number of options to promote the support of such Neanderthalic ideology.

It's not censorship unless the action is initiated by the government.

Not exactly. It's not a violation of first-amendment rights unless its done by the government. But any authority can censor that which they have authority over.

See, technically I was wrong. I, like yourself, worded the position incorrectly. Apparently humans are fallible!

I've been back from Canada for several days now. I spent the weekend in a motel room in Troutdale, Oregon mostly watching TV and sleeping. I know that this may sound disappointing. Honestly, I just wanted to relax. Today I pick uo a load and head to Logan, Utah with it and hopefully start heading home to Orlando. Wildfires have been burning in Georgia and...

I'm in Calgary, Alberta tonight and it's sunny and beautiful. I'll be headed back to the United States in the morning with a load of shredded magazines, going to a recycling plant in Oregon City, Oregon. I hate doing my part to save the planet, but I'm getting paid to do it, I was originally supposed to pick up a load of fiberglass insulation in...

Travis and I used to sleep in Medicine Hat on our way out to Lethbridge on his sunflower seed runs. smile Good memories. I love the giant teepee.

Saskatchewan is kinda boring, but the landscape is so beautiful towards the west with the small rolling hills... it really lets you appreciate the sky.

I'm in the 'burbs of Minneapolis tonight, well kinda. I'm in Clearwater, Minnesota, about 45 minutes away. I had din-din at a nice little diner inside the Petro 2 truck stop. The Place is called Nelson Brothers. It's a nice change from the Iron Skillet chain that most of the Petros have. I had a nice sirloin steak with baked potato, green beans, and homemade...

Every time I make the border crossing into Canada, I am reminded why other drivers bitch and moan about having to deliver there. I arrived at the International border crossing at Blaine, WA early on Tuesday morning about 9 AM. There were just a couple of trucks ahead of me in line at the Canadian Customs guard booth and I was speaking with a Customs...

The bf loves the Cure, so we'll for sure play some. Also... sweet and sour meatballs are DEEEEEELISH. I had the fish and chips at Ikea however. They were pretty tasty, but I also hadn't eaten in 8 hours.

The bf says that one of his favourite parts about driving truck is that you can do whatever the fuck you want and what are people gonna do about it? Like switching lanes or driving slowly or backing into a tight spot. He loathes driving in the city in just a regular old vehicle. smile I just like driving, no matter what I'm in.

What's funny about that is the sociopolitical connotations are most of what I noticed. I found the whole film more thought-provoking than amusing.

Go figure.
