There are a ton of great graphic novels out there, and there are vast differences between them. If you like mystical stuff, I highly suggest Hellboy and Hellblazer. I highly recommend Scud the disposable assassin to everyone, its got a great mixture of humor and serious story lines and you can grab the complete works in one book. My last suggestion would have to Transmetropolitan. It's a fantastic read, and when I was going through it, I could not put it down, and had to race out to get the next book once I finished. I know everyone will tell you watchmen, and quite frankly, they are right, it is a very good read with great character development and storytelling. You really can't go wrong with Alan Moore books. I hope I was helpful
