Well, in a few short hours I'll be heading to the airport to board my flight to California. I'll be visiting my brother and his wife in Van Nuys for the next week, during which time we'll be hitting Comic-Con, seeing Richard Cheese in concert and generally drinking way more than any responsible adult should. Going down to the Jersey Shore for a few days for a friend's wedding ( I'm the best man, naturally). I just hope that now that the 30 Days of Rain known as June 2009 is over, we might get a nice, sunny couple of days out of this. Hope everyone has a great holiday weekend!

I'm pretty psyched cuz I just found out my brother got us tickets for Comic-Con when I visit him in California in July! Geek Pride!! I finally get to see what all the fuss is about. I also know there will be an SG presence at the event, which I will be sure to check out.

The very definition of "one step forward, two steps back": going to the gym after work and doing a 90 minute workout. Then rendering it completely useless by stopping at Burger King on the way home and getting a bacon cheeseburger, fries and a chocolate shake for dinner. Such discipline!
