Some of you may or may not know that for about a month and a half I was juggling 2 part-time jobs. I know a LOT of people in the world do this and that doesn't make me special at all. I was miserable in the first one, they were horribly condescending, gave me very little training and several times told me to "just figure it out". The second job was still sort of figuring out my role, but they wanted me around. Honestly, they're still sort of figuring out my role, but offered me full time and random projects to keep me busy while they sort things out, since they had a whole crew shift plus me. Down to just the one and I couldn't be happier. It's a fantastic environment, with people of a like mind, who also invite me out and considered me a friend from my first day, so yay I have local friends!
Last time @hemi had visited back in September, we had visited my now work to pick up some stuff, which included me buying synthetic dreads. Well, after starting there, I finally had someone to install them, and the drive to do it, instead of letting them sit in my office at home. It has been a fun adjustment, and I got to learn as the girl who installed them did.
What do you think? @hemi visits NEXT WEEK and I am so excited. And I may or may not be shooting a new set in these!
Also got to surprise my in-laws with them when we did a weekend getaway as an early mother's day/ annual golf outing. My mother-in-law didn't even notice them at first, just the bangs!
Well, I have to run to work!
