So as awesome as the short little blog from yesterday is, I'm putting up a new one, with even more awesomeness.
Saturday, I had made plans to spend the day and night with Mel, and Corey was going to simultaneously have similar plans to hang out with Mel's boyfriend. Kenny had to work, so Corey putzed around our house for a while, and Mel and I did some girly shopping, then Corey met us at Duke's chowder house for a delicious lunch. I love me some fish and chips and lobster chowder.
We had a good giggle about this product while out shopping, maybe it's just us being immature, but who cares
The girls had to head to work, so the boys sat around playing video games, then started making the enchiladas we were going to have for dinner once we said we were on our way home. We stopped to get some alcohol too, just to sip on and enjoy while we watched movies and played games.
Chocolate milk and baileys is an awesome mix..as is the passion fruit XRated with orange juice. NOM! After a couple of drinks, Mel helped me fix my hair...I missed a spot trying to bleach my roots a few days before, right at the crown of my head, and she is a master at hair dying
A few drinks later, we busted out the cake mix I had bought at work (Michael's work..not other work). Mel and I have this tradition of making brownies when we hang out, so this cake mix was a little change, but it was awesome.
ZEBRA CAKE
We drunkenly played Just Dance, and I sneakily snapped pictures (and a video that I'm not allowed to share) of the boys dancing to Hey Ya....heh
Mel finished dying my hair Sunday morning, then Corey and I dragged our sorry asses home to shower and get ready for dinner at his grandparents', where his sister's new boyfriend would be introduced to all of us and actually have to spend time with us. I'm not much of a poker player, so I helped in the kitchen, and wandered the beautiful backyard overlooking Dash Point, and chased Corey's grandma's maltese around, trying to make her love me.
Yesterday morning I crawled out of bed, shrieked at the time and rushed around getting the final touches ready for the day, right as the lovely Audrisa pulled up. We both grabbed a muffin from the kitchen and left to pick up Ceri and the 3 of us drove to Audrisa's house.
Siempre and Audrisa helped me choose exactly which outfit I was going to wear, and Ceri helped me with my hair, then the 4 of us, and Audrisa's youngest daughter packed into her car and drove to my shoot location. We were the unsuspecting victims, stumbling into a giant red-headed ant hill.
Those little bastards are evil, climbing all over us, biting down on every inch of us....I think my reaction the a bite was best...since the little fucker crawled up my skirt and underwear and bit me right on the lady bits. Oh the screams...
Some behind the scenes from shooting me (most of them stolen from Audrisa's blog, some from my camera, some from Ceri's):
I am so happy with how it turned out!
Went back to Audrisa's to set up for Ceri's set. Siempre being an awesome reflector holder and pose director
I continued to wear my makeup, while making grilled cheese, eating watermelon, doing Ceri's hair, and messing with Audrisa's black cat, and being a creeper behind the scenes while shooting
After shooting, we made those awesome gifs for you guys
(here's a reminder)
then headed out to meet the AMAZING and one and only Jimcurt99 for dinner. Audrisa's hubby came with, and Corey met us there. The food was so yummy, and they all were amazed by the dish I got and had to take pictures. (Yes, I even wore the makeup to dinner)
Jimcurt99 was kind enough to bring us the originals of our portraits (and we're all looking forward to the one he'll be doing of Siempre)
Corey and I took Ceri home and Jimcurt99 followed us, since his hotel is right by our house. The makeup was driving me nuts, and made my nose all itchy, and I just had to be a goof and take this picture
After everything, I took my hair down and thought it looked cute..then Corey pointed out the sunburn I had gotten, sitting in the window at the restaurant....damn
So there's the epic adventures. I hope there will be many more to come with those lovely girls, and I think I'm taking Ceri and Jimcurt99 to my favorite cupcake place today.
I'm also contemplating taking down the cemetery set and putting it on Zivity...even though it is my set that is doing best here. I think the one shot by Audrisa will do even better. And you should all go love on the 3 girls I was lucky enough to grope and laugh with!
XOXOXO

As for the zebra cake--how many zebras did the recipe require? I think I could get through putting down one zebra. It should give you enough meat for at least a dozen cakes.
