Getting out of the Army is proving to be incredibly frustrating. That, on top of my stressing about the move...being home after ten years...starting school at a real college campus and not online...looking for jobs, etc, etc, etc. Basically just starting all over again. Just friggin nuts. Of course, everyone is excited I'm coming home, but at the same time, I'm being pulled in all these different directions.
As stupid as the Army can be, I was safe in the knowledge of the day to day routine of it. There was order and a particular way to do things. Now I'm jumping into what appears to be a cesspool of civilian life...no order, pure anarchy. I'm sure it isn't that bad but still, the Army does do a lot of good for its own that you won't see on the other side.
This time next week, I'll be home. I'm ready. Sort of...
