Nothing burns my ass more than when I hear Ted Cruz or Hillary Clinton talk about "Washington" like they're not a part of it. I know Clinton isn't currently a politician, but she was there and she's just as guilty.
There is so much about this primary race that I find entertaining and interesting. First there's Trump and, was, Carson. These two have the luxury to say what they want because neither of them has to go back to their home states and please their constituents. Well, Carson really didn't have much to say other than what he made up. Trump is like, "Screw it! If I don't get nominated I'll just go back to being a millionaire!!" Like, DUH! Who wouldn't, if they were in his position, say what they were thinking. Oh boo-hoo. So you don't agree with what he's saying or you think he's an obnoxious prick. Well guess what? He has the right to be. THIS IS AMERICA! That's what this fucking country is about!
The media continues to persecute him after salivating at his announcement, not realizing then that he could win the nomination. Then there's the GOP who's just been stepping in it left and right since the start of the campaign. I've always been just a little more to the right than the left. However, these yo-yo's have no clue. They are nowhere near being in touch with their constituents and knit pick about the stupidest shit nowadays. Don't get me wrong. The Dem's have had their share of partisan bullshit, but the GOP is in a far worse position going into this election.
The second thing I love about this race for nomination is Bernie Sanders. Man I love this guy! Not in favor of all of his policies, but this guy is just so likable and seems so genuine. I only hope that the young voters of America are able to put down their bongs and Xbox One controllers and register so they can vote for this guy and get him elected!
You know, it may not be a horrible thing if Trump got elected. It would shake up the establishment. Same with Sanders. I think they are what this country needs. Someone in office who isn't the cut from the same old politician cloth. I mean seriously? Where has the status-quo gotten us over the past 4 decades? Fuck it! Let's vote out all of the incumbents and start all over!! Who cares if they are shitty politicians. Just vote THEIR asses out the next election and keep it going. Keep the turn over high and you don't have career politicians any longer. Two terms at most. Just like the president.
It's a shame that there aren't more people who actually know what their Senators and Congressmen are doing rather than waiting for the local media to tell them who they should vote for. But then again, that's their right.
