So there you are, at the corner of the street, feeling the heat of the flourescent street lamp above showering your body as it lights you up in the darkness of the night. You press your lips around a cigarette softly sucking in the orgasmic sensations of toxic, letting out a shallow breath as you witness the smoke billow into the foggy atmosphere that cannot be seen, nor touched. As you think to y...ourself, one more day of this and i'll be on the next plane to Seattle. A car pulls up without headlights, not because they are turned off, but because they do not exist on this car. Slowly the brakes squeel to a final stop, to where your body is in line with the driver side window, as the tinted glass rolls down, you catch yourself leaning into the unknown wondering why you are, and why you're not more concerned for your own safety. The window has completed it's journey into the door phrame, and there is nothing of interest around you from this point on, your focus on this blackness emitting from the inside of mistery, is reflective of that from a lioness seconds before an attack. You attempt to speak, but your efforts are useless, you attempt to back away, but your once found curiousity has relentlessly turned into something much darker. Fear is swimming through your body and consuming your aura, which withers away and turns to the blackness of your new soul. Not even the street lamp is able to give a slight hint of light inside this abyss of nothing. An overwhelming feeling of sleeplessness shrouds your psyche, as your eyes begin to slowly droop, deeper, deeper down. Fully underneath the spell of darkness, your soul begins to tear apart from the inside out, your physical being begins to deteriorate one skin cell after the other. Were you dreaming? Is this experience something from a dream? Or were you letting go of everything, giving into what you could not control, for that is the power of the unknown. Do not let it imprison you and form a cocoon around your mind for it to grow inside of you. Take control of the beasts that play wicked games on the helpless, shine light into every corner of your mind, for there will someday be a reason why you bought an extra pack of batteries.
