You my dear are an excellent example of what I was trying to say. Proper healthcare for those who genuinely need it. That’s becoming harder to find by the day. And that’s not just frustrating to me. It’s costly to everyone who is in pain. Wether it’s detected by an X-ray, or not. I have issues that don’t show up on every test. Doesn’t matter to the doctor who is too afraid to treat me, and others like me. With any real respect. They see me as a tattooed hooligan. And they always ask “ how come you can take the pain of a tattoo, but you can’t take the pain of ( insert internal organ, necessary to live here) ? And I always respond with the same answer “ because doctor. There’s 3 kinds of pain in this world. Topical, internal, and emotional. Tats are topical. Just like blood draws, iv, etc. temporary pain. But organ pain that doesn’t go away? That’s what brings me to you doc.” I never mention the emotional issues. Anxiety, depression. Ptsd. Because that’s a one way ticket to a psych ward. When I have no intention of harming anyone. Never have. Never will.
