The weekend was great.
We got to Detroit Saturday evening and got down to business right away. I shot 2 sets of Ginger (GingerBBW.com) and she shot 1 of me with a hot new super-long hair piece. We left her house around 1AM, hit up Coney Island for a yummy gyro and spinach pie, and rolled into bed at my roommate's mom's house after a round of Racko and a few drinks.
My roommate's family took him to church in the morning while my husband and I travelled a bit further up I-75 to hit the Great Lakes Crossings Mall. I desperately needed to get to Torrid and find some new clothes to shoot in. Must have timed that just right because I hit the 50%-Off-All-Clearance-Prices and loaded up on some super cute shirts for less than $8 each and a few other accessories. I left the place with a heaping bagload of stuff for just over $100, it was pretty sweet.
After the mall, we headed straight back to Ginger's studio and cranked out a few more sets - 2 more of me, 2 more of her. I was surprised we got so much done Sunday compared to Saturday night - I think we were there longer Saturday even but got less done! Oh well, the important thing is that we did get a lot of stuff accomplished and hopefully neither of us will need any sets done for at least 3 weeks. Shooting was a lot of fun, although the weekend turned out to be unseasonably warm for October.
After leaving Ginger's place, we headed over to our favorite little pipe shop to stock up on paraphenalia, then headed downtown to check out the new MGM Grand casino. Unfortunately, we parked in a garage on the People Mover route since we wanted to ride it, but the MGM is a few blocks off the route so we settled on going to Greektown Casino instead, which IS on the People Mover route, rather than walking in the nasty heat. Greektown was great - my husband used his $20 limit to win back $90 playing the blackjack tables, looks like I'm taking him there more often!
