Super exciting news!
Due to my medical condition, I fit the profile of someone who can benefit from a service dog.
Here's the concept.
Before I faint:
1. Dog smells changes in hormones caused by my failing neurons in my heart.
2. Dog alerts me to slow down.
3. Dog hears change in heart rhythm.
4. Dog alerts me to sit until safe
5.If I don't faint said dog alerts me to keep going.
After I faint:
1. Dog sits with me for 30 seconds waiting for me to wake up.
2. If I don't wake up Dog gets help.
2a. If I do wake up Dog waits for signal.
-to either A. get help, i.e. bring the phone, find my husband, or alert passers by.
-or B help me up.
And the best part is, I may be able to petition the Air Force to help with the expenses!
