These days, I'm in a massave job hunt again. I'm about to get a new degree (next tuesday I'll get all the lovely papers) in logistics. But actually I'm still indecisive in what I really want to do.
My background? Looks like I already worked in a 100 different sectors the last 15 years. With an engineering degree (or at least a kind of engineering bachelor) I started to work at an IT-helpdesk. Awful job. Switched to worked in an IT-store, for a few month, before opening my own store. Didn't like it, it was too lonely to be alone in my shop for about all the time. After that, I did my first job in logistics, working at Brussels Airport. Big fun, it was all about Air Cargo. During that time, I started as a photographer. For the first years I did it in my private time. After a while, full time. It was really great to do. And I combined it with freelancing as a MakeUp Artist. Then I had to move to another place and had to stop working as a photographer. Again a carreer switch: I became Assistant Manager and Manager in a cinema, but my bosses where like the worst imaginable bosses, so I switched again for 'anything I could get'. So for about a year, I managed a supermarket. Which totally wasn't anything for me :)
So now, on the job hunt again. But now with an extra degree in logistics. Tomorrow I'll have my most important job interview I can imagine. Ramp Controller for SwissAir. So wish me luck! I think what I want mostly is finding a new job in aviation. Preferably something where I'm not only based in Brussels, but we'll see. Actually I dream about moving out, going abroad. Something new, a different environment. I hate being in the same place for too long...
Actually, I do have one secret plan. In a few weeks, I'll travel to brasil. I'm certainly gonna look out for possibilities to move to the big south.Kinda permanently. The only thing is that I don't want to take the risk to live in (complete) poverty for years. But I do hope it's possible.
Dear ladies and gentlemen, I wish you a perfect day!
